Today the crew wrapped up work on Rosamond-Sherley Elementary School in Anna, TX.
BSC completed a quick 3-day paver installation using Holland pavers in
standard 8cm Terra-Cotta, and 6cm Charcoal for ADA ramps linking the main entrance to
the parking lot.
This ultra-modern 87,500 SF school will be fully functional for the 2022-2023 school year!

ARDAN APARTMENTS

BSC completed a massive paver installation at the luxury Ardan Apartments within West Village, only a block away from our previous parking garage install! Unique patterns and shapes, curved border pavers, ADA pavers, large-scale stone pavers, site furnishings, and stone walls- this project has it all!

BSC thrives on projects like this where our individual exemplary skills unite to create a harmonious and beautiful result.

West Village in Uptown Dallas is a multi-functional space that’s home to retail, residences, restaurants, a hotel, and a movie theater! BSC was awarded the paver scope on this project by and installed a wide variety of pavers in the main streetscape area, as well as the 7th floor pool deck.

Two sizes and colors of Holland series pedestrian pavers were installed in contrasting running bond and basketweave patterns to discern sidewalks, pedestrian crossing areas, and the garage entrance from the vehicular concrete. Further, ADA pavers and pre-existing 4x8 Boral Brick Pavers were installed in these areas, and a 12x18 granite paver was placed on the pool deck-level.

This project site is in the heart of downtown and our team had to work in a live-traffic area while also delivering material 7 stories up!

GFRC- Glass Fire Reinforced Concrete

GFRC panels and pavers offer a stronger and more flexible option than traditional unreinforced concrete pavers, on average offerings two to four times more flexural strength than its opponent. GFRC is most commonly used wherever a light, strong, weather resistant, attractive, and fire retardant material is required.

Pictured above are unique GFRC truncated dome panels that BSC installed within Terminal A at DFW Airport! GFRC Panels were chosen for this project to adhere to ADA guidelines for an inter-terminal rail system platform, and to withstand the rails force and pedestrian usage.

Here’s a look at a beautiful concrete ‘Holland’ series stone pavers Builder Services installed for TXDOT Lubbock! A herringbone pattern consisting of a 25/75 Charcoal and Antique Red blend was placed on a joint sand bed at various intersection medians along US highway 62.

Lets talk Tiered Retaining Walls…

Tiered SRW are series of multiple ‘stacked’ walls, where each higher wall is set back from the underlying one. These wall systems retain soil, support large loads, and provide room for increased landscaping, and are chosen when aesthetics, safety, and economics intersect on a project.

The upper walls of a tiered-system may exert extra loading on their lower counterparts, because of this a special wall design may be needed. The designing engineer must pay special attention to the site soil, drainage, wall spacings, foundation and compaction, and slope security so they may properly determine the overall needed stability of the entire tiered-system.
