Our Shell volunteers had a blast at the third annual Teach For America STEM Experience at Lowery Middle School! There was a total of 43 industry volunteers from nine companies sharing their wisdom and insight with over 260 students.

Our Shell employee volunteers led sixth-grade students through an engaging, hands-on activity. The students loved discovering that chemicals made at Shell Geismar are used in everyday products at home! 🧪✨

‘Celebrate the Power of Women’ is the Capital Area United Way Women United’s signature annual event, bringing together passionate community leaders, advocates and changemakers to honor the women shaping a stronger Capital Area.

Members of the Shell Black Network Group represented our site at the second annual Salute 1st Global’s Fundraising & Awards Gala at the PACE Center, bringing together community leaders, students, corporate partners, educators and supporters from across Louisiana.

As an Access Architect Sponsor, Shell supported Salute 1st with a $5,000 donation, benefitting the organization’s mission to empower young men and boys with the skills they need to succeed.

Shell recently partnered with Southern University to host the second annual OneHBCU Energize Markets Case Study Competition. Three student-teams showcased their work for a chance to win $3,000. The winning team, coached by Shell Geismar’s very own Alexis Rabb, traveled to Shell's offices in Houston in March to compete against winners from other HBCUs for the grand prize of $10,000. Shell volunteers recently spent the afternoon supporting Capital Area United Way’s Women United event, Women Empowering Women. The program brought together women from across the capital region to build career and personal development skills.

Our volunteers helped participants navigate learning sessions, access resources and take part in skill‑building activities such as resume writing and interview coaching.

It was a meaningful and inspiring experience for everyone involved! ❤️💛
