U.S. Inspection & NDT, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Radiation Safety Officer to oversee and lead our Radiation Safety & Compliance Program at our Genesee, Pennsylvania facility. As a key member of our Management Team, the RSO will play a critical leadership role in ensuring our company’s operations meet and exceed all federal, state, and client safety requirements related to the use of radioactive materials in nondestructive testing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and enforce company-wide radiation safety policies
• Ensure compliance with NRC, Agreement States, OSHA, and client-specific standards
• Conduct training, oversee audits, and lead source retrieval efforts
• Serve as the technical authority on all radiation-related matters
• Collaborate with executive leadership on safety strategy

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum (2,000 OJT hours) of experience in industrial radiography
• Certified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO)
• Certified in source retrieval
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass drug test and FBI background check
