🥶 TURNED ON YOUR HEAT… BUT NOTHING HAPPENED? 🔥

With colder nights finally arriving, many homeowners are firing up their furnaces for the first time this season.

If your heat isn't working, don't panic! Before scheduling a service call, try these simple checks:

✅ Check your thermostat. Make sure it's set to HEAT and the temperature is set higher than the current room temperature.

✅ Replace thermostat batteries. If your thermostat uses batteries, weak or dead batteries could be the problem.

✅ Check your air filter. A dirty or clogged filter can restrict airflow and cause your furnace to shut down.

✅ Check your circuit breaker. Make sure the breaker hasn't tripped and your furnace's power switch is on.

✅ Check your vents. Make sure supply and return vents aren't blocked by furniture or other objects.

🔧 Still no heat? That's where Doc's comes in!

WE’RE GOING PINK! 🎀

Throughout October, you’ll notice the Doc’s Heating & Cooling team looking a little different. Our field technicians and installers will be wearing PINK in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

But we wanted to do more than wear pink.

For every service call or installation Doc’s completes during the month of October, we’ll donate $5 to Susan G. Komen to support the fight against breast cancer.

So when you schedule your fall furnace maintenance, need an HVAC repair, or have new equipment installed this October, your appointment helps us give back.

Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we honor their memory and the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown in the days that followed.
