Charlie Kirk spent his career attacking Black women, trans people, deceased Black children killed by police, migrants, poor folks, professors, and anyone not in line with his extremely narrow, racist, white nationalist conception of American identity and citizenship.
He is not a martyr. He is not a hero. He is not a political leader. He deserves no honor and no praise. His rallies were attended by white nationalists hellbent on spewing hatred and enacting violence against non-white, q***r, and trans people.
One of his own took the advice from Kirk himself, used his Second Amendment rights, and murdered Kirk in cold blood. Tyler Robinson was methodical, planned, and strategic. He follows in a long line of white male gunmen who have killed public speakers, political personalities, and others in public life. More than half of mass shooters are white men.
Black people are not involved.
Latine people are not involved.
Q***r and trans people are not involved.
Migrant folks are not involved.
We have nothing to do with any of this.
And, yet, we have become targets (again). I have been receiving death threats all week. My comrades are being doxxed. Black authors are being boycotted.
THIS IS WHITE SUPREMACY AT WORK. THIS IS WHAT WE MEANT WHEN WE TOLD Y'ALL THAT FASCISM WAS HERE.
If nothing else, please believe them. Please believe that it takes nothing for them to want you dead. Please, listen to me, that "not all white ppl" s**t will get you killed out here.
We have to be honest about what is happening in front of our faces. We have to tell the truth. We are in crisis.

This past week, we watched a white racist man be killed in front of his white racist followers by a young white man raised in a white racist family.
And, somehow, Black, Latine, q***r, trans, disabled, and immigrant people all over the country are now being doxxed, harassed, threatened, and fired.
Never ever doubt that this is a white supremacist country ever again.
