Plastic bags & plastic wrap don't belong in recycling carts. The photo shows how they get stuck in machines at the sorting facility. Either discard plastic bags in the trash or bring them to the grocery store.

Brown County Fair Bale 2026 on the corner of Main and Grant. Our blue bins are all around the fairgrounds, use them for your plastic bottles, and aluminum cans. Be sure to stop by the Green Machine to chat about recycling. Good luck to all the exhibitors, derby drivers, horse riders, and tractor pullers. See you at the fair!

Maysville E-Waste Cleanup: 10/5/2026-10/9/2026

The City of Maysville is sponsoring another E-Waste Cleanup at Public Works (1720 Martha Comer Drive behind Maysville Community and Technical College) October 5th through October 9th from 7AM-3:30PM. Please see the attached image for a list of accepted items. When dropping off material, please find the sorted bin/pallet appropriate for what you are recycling.

Hazardous waste and tires are NOT permitted.
