Step into the world of high-performance packaging technology as a Machine Commissioner & Technical Service Specialist at Conflex Inc., a leading global manufacturer of premium shrink wrap and packaging equipment. Since 1988, we’ve been building a reputation for quality, innovation, and customer-first solutions — and we’re looking for a sharp, hands-on technician to help carry that mission forward.
In this role, you won’t just be turning wrenches or reading schematics — you’ll be solving real-world technical challenges, collaborating with engineering and production teams, and making sure every machine that leaves our floor exceeds expectations. You'll be the person customers trust when they need expert guidance — whether that's commissioning a new machine, troubleshooting in the field, or refining production processes for even greater performance.
This is an ideal fit for someone who thrives in dynamic, technical environments, loves understanding how systems work, and takes pride in delivering top-quality equipment and service.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Commissioning complex packaging systems — including PLC and HMI programming, system checks, and electrical troubleshooting
Inspecting equipment and leading quality control reviews before shipment
Providing both in-person and remote technical support to customers and internal teams
Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving changes through Engineering Change Requests (E.C.Rs)
Collaborating across departments to maintain timelines and elevate performance
Training others — from customers to backup technical staff — to build a stronger, more capable team
Occasionally traveling to customer sites for equipment installations, service calls, and trade show support (20–50 days/year)

What You Bring:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
The ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
A full set of mechanical and electrical tools
Clear, confident communication — in the shop, over the phone, and with customers
A passion for precision, problem-solving, and learning new technology
The flexibility to travel and perform occasional heavy lifting
