I know it has been a while since I have posted anything BUT that doesn‘t mean that art hasn’t been going on. Check out this Pokémon art class I have been teaching at Hot Potato Art Studio on Friday afternoons! These kiddos are amazing artists and the conversations of favorite Pokémon cards and characters are just a ton of fun to be a part of!

Innoverse Makers Club is back at San Tan Charter School for grades 2-6 this fall and we have some really fun projects. (Don't worry, K-1st graders, your club will resume in January!) Here are some photos to show off the awesome work at Lighthouse Enrichment Club in the past few weeks. We have been busy prepping so I haven't kept up of posting but I really should be showing off all the amazing and creative things the kids have been doing just a little more often! I am not posting photos of the children so there is so much more that I can not post. These kids are 40% fun and 60% energy! We used many different materials and flashlights to experiment and make rainbows. We also started our Super Powers series for the month of October. We learned a lot about the super powers of spiders and made some super cool spider web watercolors. We also checked out the artist, Louise Bourgeouis and her famous sculptures of spiders and made our very own sculptures. (Ours were a bit more cuddly too.) Now we have a better understanding and respect for these wonderful creatures that God created.

There have been lots of fun and exciting activities at Lighthouse Enrichment Club in the past few weeks. Ms. Annie has been going through character traits every week. We learned about Kindness, Patience, Honesty and Love. We made super hero capes and played follow the leader. Innoverse STEAM Center provided some awesome space art lessons that explored vantage point and persective with oil pastels and made amazing solar eclipse paintings while we learned all about the phases of the moon. We also learned about the power of the sun and all of the things it does for life on Earth. We made fun solar prints and got to see them develop. Such a busy few weeks but we can't wait for more.
