LBC Blades Hand crafted blades of all sorts. Made to order. I only use high carbon steels. No stainless. No damascus/No layered steels. Any questions just ask.

I do my own sheaths, made from leather or kydex.

High carbon steel care.

The steel I use is not stainless and will discolor over time and with use. It actually helps protect the steel.

Do not leave in water. The steel can be washed with soap and water but needs to be dried and oiled immediately after.

I use mineral oil / bees wax mix when I finish a blade, but one or the other by itself will work fine.

If you’re familiar with fi****ms think of it as caring and cleaning for your new handmade knife the same way, clean and oiled.
