Looking for a few good people:
Carpenter Handyman job involves performing a wide range of minor to moderate repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks, with a strong focus on woodworking (carpentry) but also covering basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general fixes for buildings and fixtures, requiring skills in tool operation, problem-solving, and customer service for residential or commercial clients. Key Responsibilities:
• Carpentry: Repairing/installing doors, windows, cabinets, fences, decks, molding, and furniture assembly, plus general wood framing and trim work.
• General Repairs: Fixing drywall, patching holes, repairing roofs, and maintaining building exteriors.
• Plumbing: Fixing leaks, clearing drains, repairing/replacing faucets, toilets, and sinks.
• Electrical: Installing light fixtures, outlets, and ceiling fans, replacing bulbs, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
• Painting: Preparing surfaces, applying paint, and staining.
• Maintenance: Performing routine inspections, cleaning gutters, and maintaining grounds.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in handyman, carpentry, or maintenance roles.
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools (saws, drills, sanders, etc.).
• Strong understanding of carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints or work from instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is often required, with a valid driver's license and personal transportation.
