Earls Building Supply is a commercial supply company specializing in quality wood doors, hollow metal doors, hollow metal frames, hardware, overhead doors, and specialties. We take great pride in our product, customers, and team!
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled wood shop manager to join our team. As a wood shop manager, you will be responsible for prepping wood doors and staining wood doors, etc. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of woodworking techniques.
Duties:
- Prep wood doors according to specifications and blueprints
- Select appropriate materials for each project, ensuring quality and durability
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and finish
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
-Ability to work with raw materials and knowledge of how to prep for use.
-Prior experience in woodworking, carpentry a plus.
-Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Good with precise measurements
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
