Monnig Industries has been in our current location since 1960. We are a job-shop hot-dip galvanizing plant with expertise in dip and spin work. We pioneered the galvanizing of steel boat dock components. We have done multiple stadium projects for Mizzou and Royals and Chiefs. This company was founded by Bob Monnig. Our mission is as follows and is not just a written statement, but one we live by: We strive to be the premier provider of galvanizing services, while honoring the golden rule with respect to our customers, employees, vendors and the public at large. We make it our personal mission to get involved in each of the communities we operate in, sponsoring youth leagues, supporting community events, and hosting chamber events, just to name a few. The Bob Monnig charitable trust (Tri-County Trust Company, Shannon Damron, trustee) supports a lot of local projects with significant funding from managers of Bob Monnig Industries. Some of the projects we have sponsored include, attracting Boone Hospital (BJC Healthcare) to place a clinic in our town of Glasgow, Missouri. We have built a community track and recently converted it to all weather with the generous support of area farmers and other pillars of this community. We support youth sports programs, area after-prom activities, have built a stage on water-street in downtown Glasgow for public concerts and more. We have worked with the Booneslick/Heartland YMCA by purchasing family memberships for all of our employees to help improve the feasibility of placing a facility here in Glasgow. The local MFA also supports that project through the use of their building. We support the annual Tom "Bear" Monnig golf tournament which the local Lions Club sponsors raising tens of thousands of dollars for local charities. We support all local churches and community members in their time of need by donating to organizations like the foodbank and even sponsoring benefits. We are a booster to all Glasgow Public School and St. We are a Tiger Scholarship Club member, and have supported Mizzou for decades.
