Word's been getting around, but we're excited to officially announce that our longtime teammate Gerry Hazzard has been promoted to Vice President of Sales!

Since joining Victory in 2018, Gerry has grown our Swap Body business and developed countless strong customer relationships. Now, he's looking forward to growing our sales team, developing and implementing new strategies, and taking Victory into new markets. We are confident that Gerry's skill and determination will elevate MyGlassTruck, and all of Victory, to new levels of success, and we look forward to growing stronger together.

Calling all of our friends in the Midwest! We'll be attending Midwest Glass Expo at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, OH, November 4th-5th.

As the end of the year approaches, it might be worth looking into new equipment and how you can use Section 179 to your benefit. Section 179 allows many businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment, including glass-carrying trucks and glass racks, when that equipment is purchased or financed and placed in service during the tax year!

For 2026, businesses may be able to deduct up to $2,560,000 in qualifying equipment purchases. Equipment generally needs to be in service by December 31st to claim the deduction on this year’s return.

We had a great time at GlassBuild America 2026! A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the MyGlassTruck booth last week. It was great to meet so many glass professionals, catch up with customers from across the nation, and share news and ideas with others throughout the glass industry.

It’s hard to believe how quickly this year has flown by! We’ve been staying busy building glass racks and truck bodies, and continuing to find ways to build better every day. And of course, we know our team isn’t the only one that’s been working hard.

As we head into Labor Day weekend, we want to wish everyone a safe and relaxing long weekend. We hope you take a moment to recharge, spend some time with the people who matter, and enjoy your well-deserved time off.
