Chicagoland Geothermal

Chicagoland Geothermal We specialize in designing the Right System for the Best Price. There are several components to a geothermal system installation.

The difference between Chicagoland Geothermal and every other existing company offering the geothermal option is that we make it affordable. The average company installing geothermal has to subcontract out each component to install a complete system. This is not the case with Chicagoland Geothermal, and this is what will make the system affordable for you. At Chicagoland Geothermal we will meet wi

th you to overview your project and discuss the most viable options for installation. We are then able to calculate all the different factors that go into your particular job requirements (I.e., type of loop system, size of heat pump, depth of drilling, total load considerations). At Chicagoland Geothermal it is all one stop shopping. After agreeing on the installation that is right for you, we then provide all the drilling, trenching and loop installation - there is no outsourcing. By providing all of the technical aspects of a geothermal installation from one source we are not only able to save you money but you have the confidence of knowing that you are working with one company that has handled your installation from beginning to end and knows your project inside and out. Chicagoland Geothermal provides cost saving and peace of mind - truly making Geothermal HVAC Affordable!

Our latest completed project. This building in Mundelein consists of 66 apartments all using 100% geothermal heating and cooling. We drilled the vertical loop field under the building in the lower parking garage during construction using our patent pending drilling technoligy. Noteworthy fact to the Geo world: THIS LOOP FIELD HAS NOT GONE BELOW 50 DEGREES EWT THIS WINTER AND WE ARE NOW INTO FEBRUARY. The building is over 60,000 sq. ft. plus a 2 story parking garage and has 64 tons of the latest technoligy VRF water source equipment.

Now you can cool your drinks with the natural Geothermal cooling properties of the earth!

Say goodbye to the long walks back to the fridge during a BBQ or the wet mess left by melting ice in your Rubbermaid. A team of Danes has created a way to keep your beer cool all year long that is convenient, stylish and totally green. The eCool is a contained, insulated compartment that you bury in your yard. It holds 24 cans of beer and all you have to do is pop the top, turn the crank and out pops a new brew. The eCool’s creators, four men from the tiny island of Mors off the northern coast of Denmark, claim that you can keep it installed all year long with no worries of damage to the eCool or frozen beer in the winter. If you haven’t gotten your dad a gift for Father’s Day yet, we recommend you get him one of these for every corner of the yard. They run 1,895 kroner ($346), which is a little pricey, but can you really put a price on an outdoor beer cellar?

Another amazing shot of the Fly Geyser - in Nevada. The Fly Geyser is not an entirely natural phenomenon; it was accidentally created by well drilling in 1964 exploring for sources of geothermal energy. The well may not have been capped correctly, or left unplugged, but either way dissolved minerals started rising and accumulating, creating the travertine mound on which the geyser sits and continues growing.
