Brush mowing is generally a late Fall to early Spring activity due to potential fire hazards. I was able to take advantage of this amazing rain to help out a client with some light fire/fuel mitigation around her buildings. Sage brush can be both an extremely hot burning primary fuel or a ladder fuel when mixed with conifer growth. It's important to manage light and heavy fuel types around buildings and other improvements.
