At ITW, great ideas can come from anywhere.

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) create opportunities for all colleagues to learn, connect and grow professionally across our global enterprise. Each of our eight ERGs have executive sponsors, who champion these communities, elevating their visibility and strengthening connections across the organization.

Xavi Gracia, executive vice president, Automotive OEM, serves as executive sponsor of the ITW MultiCultural Network (MCN), which is dedicated to fostering inclusion for all ITW colleagues by celebrating diverse cultural backgrounds, supporting career development and attracting Great ITW Leaders.

"Some of the best ideas emerge from conversations that bring together people with different skills, experiences and perspectives. MCN creates those opportunities across our global enterprise, strengthening collaboration and deepening ITW Business Model expertise that drives differentiated performance."

Thank you to Xavi and all of our ERG executive sponsors for supporting the colleague-led communities that make ITW stronger.

The start of a new school year is a chance for students to discover what interests them and imagine their future.

At ITW, we're committed to opening doors through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) education. Across our divisions, we invest in hands-on learning and community partnerships that connect young people with future possibilities. Through our longstanding partnership with After School Matters, ITW and Miller Welders support paid opportunities for Chicago teens to gain practical skills, including at the ITW Welding Studio.

Through our partnership with ITW David Speer Academy, a high school in the Noble Schools network, high school seniors work alongside ITW colleagues on projects and learn about careers within a global industrial company. For some, that relationship continues through college internships and mentorship. The results show what sustained access and support can help students achieve.

Supporting colleague well-being is a year-round priority at ITW. Our decentralized, entrepreneurial culture enables Wellness Champions to create locally relevant opportunities for teams to connect, recharge and build healthy habits.

Together, they are making a meaningful impact. In 2025, over 4,000 colleagues participated in activities planned and executed by Wellness Champions across the U.S.

This year’s theme, “I Choose Wellness,” recognizes that lasting well-being begins with personal choice. From group walks and team challenges to lunch-and-learn sessions and creative stress-relief activities, these colleague-led efforts inspire individuals to choose small, intentional actions that support their well-being at work and beyond.

How do engineers know whether a building can withstand an earthquake before it is built? They partner with MTS Systems Corporation to simulate one.

MTS, part of ITW’s Test & Measurement and Electronics segment, develops systems that help engineers validate performance, structural strength and long-term reliability. The team recreates real-world forces in the lab, helping engineers test the limits of vehicles, aircraft, materials and structures.

That expertise led Tianjin University to select MTS to develop earthquake simulation systems for a major national research facility. The largest structural testing project in MTS history includes:

- Full-scale building testing: A six-degree-of-freedom shake table with a 16-by-20-meter working surface and a 1,350-ton payload, enabling researchers to test full-scale buildings.

- Infrastructure testing: A dual-table system that can test bridges, tunnels and pipelines under simulated earthquake and ocean conditions.

Through Customer-Back Innovation, MTS is helping researchers push the boundaries of structural testing and design safer, more resilient infrastructure.

Innovation starts with solving the right problems.

That's why Meurer, part of our Specialty Products segment, invited customers' senior technicians and project engineers to share their experiences operating and maintaining packaging equipment. Those insights helped evolve its HTW Case Packer, a high-speed tray and wraparound packer that helps customers increase output without expanding their footprint.

Those conversations uncovered everyday workarounds that revealed new opportunities for innovation. "We had to learn to ask the right questions," said Michael Lampe, Meurer's Customer-Back Innovation Manager.

By listening and innovating with purpose, Meurer continues to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, increase flexibility and help customers get more from their packaging lines.
