🚀🔴 Congratulations to Jen Carver, Crew 327, and the entire Spaceward Bound Utah team on completing another memorable five-day mission at the MDRS - Mars Desert Research Station outside of Hanksville!
From extreme rain and flooding to muddy roads that disrupted the program’s first-ever field trip, the crew demonstrated the resilience, adaptability, and teamwork essential to exploring Mars.
When poor driving conditions prevented the school bus from reaching , the crew took the field trip on the road instead, traveling to meet the students! The result? An unforgettable experience for 5th- and 6th-graders, who proudly collected autographs from seven analog astronauts! 👩🚀
Spaceward Bound Utah is a five-day program that gives K–12 educators a unique opportunity to experience life and research at our Mars analog station, bringing valuable lessons in science, exploration, and problem-solving back to their classrooms.
