DAQiFi Core 1.6.0

Point an AI agent at your bench and let it do the work. This release rounds out the MCP server so an agent can run a measurement end to end: configure the device, take a reading, drive an output, and pull back what it recorded.

🤖 AI agents drive the rig: over MCP, an agent can now read a live
measurement, drive an analog output, and read back an SD recording.

🎛️ Better support of Nyquist 3 hardwar: your device's DACs show up alongside its inputs with their voltage range, resolution, and last-commanded value.

📊 Know your sample rate: new acquisition statistics answer "am I actually getting the rate I asked for?" from the samples themselves.

DAQiFi Core 1.5.0 — now on NuGet 🎉

⚡ Calibration confirms: calibration and voltage-precision commands now read the device's own error queue back, so a refused command raises a clear error instead of quietly reporting success
🔌 WiFi updates self-heal: a failed flash no longer leaves the WiFi module unreachable until a power cycle; Core recovers it automatically
🏷️ Cancellable connect: connecting, streaming, and tearing down a device can all be cancelled and awaited properly, with IAsyncDisposable support

Our open cross-platform .NET SDK for DAQiFi data-acquisition devices just got a lot harder to knock over. A capture that loses its connection no longer loses your session:

⚡ Survives a dropped link — opt in, and a device that drops mid-capture reconnects on its own and picks the stream back up where it left off

📶 SD card over WiFi — list, download, and control logging over the network, no USB cable and no walking over to the device

⏱️ Connect that can't hang — connect and teardown honor a CancellationToken, and devices can be `await using`'d

Big release for DAQiFi Core.

DAQiFi hardware is now AI-enabled through MCP.

That means MCP-compatible agents can now discover devices, connect, configure channels, and start logging data from real DAQiFi hardware.

Also included in the recent releases:

✅ AI control via MCP
✅ Fully decoded live data with per-channel samples, scaling, and timestamps
✅ Hardware outputs with Digital I/O and PWM support

The only other pictures I took in Nashville- the hotel pool deck at sunset and the inside of their Parthenon replica. (The latter is a museum and I was happy to have Ruth Righi to geek out with there - so rare to have a travel companion that also reads all the descriptions!)

DAQiFi meets ET! Well, actually, the DAQiFi Nyquist 1 is helping the Colorado School of Mines in Golden develop processes to extract resources from extraterrestrial bodies such as meteorites.
