We are excited to welcome Micah Probst to our team as our Warehouse Technician!

He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in May 2025 with a BA in Philosophy. He most recently worked with the university in the receiving department for the JSCBB (Biotech) building. While he has a strong interest in abstract thinking and writing, he finds the greatest fulfillment in hands-on, tangible work, especially when it advances technology or improves people’s lives.

Outside of work, Micah is an avid reader and writer who enjoys exploring philosophical ideas through his own writing. A Colorado native, he has been rock climbing for eight years and training in various martial arts for over 15 years, which he also teaches part-time. He also spends time painting and exploring his creative side.

Welcome, Micah! Happy to have you here!

We are excited to welcome Derik Kraych to our team as our new Fiber Optics System Technician!

After a five-year stint in the military, Derik moved to New York City for college, where a longstanding interest in math led him to pursue a degree in physics. During his studies, he participated in astrophysics research focused on the search for dark matter and continued in that work for two years after graduating. Through this experience, he discovered a passion for tackling novel problems and applying his skills in meaningful ways.

Outside of work, Derik stays active and enjoys exploring the outdoors. Having grown up in Michigan without much elevation, he finds the mountains in Colorado especially compelling and spends time hiking, camping, and cycling, primarily on the road, though he’s increasingly tempted to pick up trail biking. He also enjoys dancing, live music, and catching the occasional hockey game.

Welcome, Derik! Happy to have you here!
