Grand Opening!

ASPCA recently opened their new Recovery & Rehabilitation Center in Pawling NY, designed to shelter, rehabilitate, and rehome canine victims of cruelty. Andron is proud of our work – value-engineering the cost and managing the construction of this certified LEED-gold facility.

Slab on Grade!
The team at UC Government Center stayed late to complete the SOG installation on a Friday night so that steel could commence the following Monday. This was a huge milestone for the project – we appreciate all the workers who worked to the finish!

Topping Off!
The team at BOCES Arden Hill celebrated the final steel beam placement at the new gymnasium. Closing in and interior work will commence. The project remains on schedule.
We salute the skilled union workers who work under a PLA that supports local jobs and fair wages.

Concrete Prep!
Ulster County Emergency Operations & Communications Center
Concrete for all 4 building walls will be delivered to the top wall height in a single, continuous pour. This ICF system uses insulating foam forms, which then remain as part of the completed wall assembly.

CONSTRUCTION NEWS July 2025 edition:
Bond Financing secured for Orange-Ulster BOCES Capital Program.

Work is underway at the Arden Hill Gymnasium, where Andron is performing as GC for a new $9.9M facility. The Orange-Ulster BOCES comprehensive capital program serves facilities that educate thousands of career and technical education students, special needs students, and adult education students annually.

Groundbreaking !
Andron performs as General Contractor for the $14.5M comprehensive improvements at Sojourner Truth State Park in Ulster County. A spring-fed quarry lake will hold the natural swimming area, and a new bathhouse pavilion will sit on the shore. Project includes renovation and protection of the historic Mule Barn, which will be transformed into flex space for Park visitors and events. This project aligns with Governor Hochul's efforts to encourage affordable outdoor recreation for NYS residents.

Governor Hochul announced the groundbreaking for the buildout of major elements of Sojourner Truth State Park in Ulster County, including a new swimming facility and bathhouse pavilion.

Construction includes a new gymnasium, locker rooms, fitness center, bathrooms, offices, and support spaces, with an outdoor basketball court and soccer field. Design by KG+D Architects.
