We are a week away from topping out at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. From structural steel reaching Level 8 to major progress across the central utility plants and parking deck, the project continues to take shape as teams coordinate complex work across an active campus environment.

Delivered through the Tri-Venture partnership of T. A. Loving Company, Barnhill Contracting Company, and Metcon, Inc., and designed by BSA, the project reflects the strength of collaboration at every level. Each milestone reflects the hard work, problem-solving, and progress of our project team as we build a transformative space for future healthcare education and innovation.

For Bethany Lanciault, project management is rooted in problem-solving. Working through challenges alongside teammates and subcontractors, learning from different perspectives, and finding solutions that keep work moving is what she enjoys most about the role.

On the Lenovo project, Bethany has taken on several unique challenges involving high-end finishes and custom installations, including lime plaster cement applications, custom metal column covers, specialty bar shelving, and millwork wall paneling. Navigating these less typical scopes has expanded her experience and provided opportunities to work through detailed coordination and installation challenges.

One accomplishment she is especially proud of was the early work on the mechanical rooms for the new air handling units. With an aggressive start requiring quick action on submittals, procurement, and construction, the team successfully secured long-lead equipment, coordinated through design challenges with trade partners, and delivered the work without major safety or quality issues.

What Bethany values most about project management at T. A. Loving Company is the opportunity to work alongside strong teammates and continue learning through each project.

Building stronger communities goes beyond the jobsite.

Yesterday, T. A. Loving Company joined First Tee of the Triangle during the UNC Health Championship, where young golfers had the opportunity to learn from Korn Ferry Tour professionals and spend the evening at Raleigh Country Club.

Thank you to Brandon Berry, Connor Creasy, Miles Russell, and Matt Atkins for taking the time to connect with participants and help make the event a great experience.

Things are moving fast at the North Carolina Global Transpark MRO Fleet Readiness Campus in Kinston.

You can really start to see the size and capability of this project coming together. Hangars are going up, fuel systems are arriving onsite, paint booth structures are taking shape, and crews are pushing hard across every corner of the campus.

A few big milestones lately:
▪️ Hangar doors and exterior skin installed
▪️ First 25,000-gallon fuel tank delivered
▪️ Structural steel complete on major facilities
▪️ Additional hangar bays and backshops underway
▪️ Paving, utilities, and site infrastructure continuing daily

Once complete, this campus will support aircraft maintenance, painting, fueling, and fleet readiness operations while bringing more aerospace work and jobs to Eastern North Carolina.

The JV partnership team of T.A. Loving and Barnhill Contracting Company continues making major progress on this large-scale aviation project in Kinston.
