A huge thank you to Venture Global and Nunez Community College for their leadership and continued commitment to the Will to Skill Program!

Through our partnership with Venture Global and Nunez Community College, Plaquemines Parish residents received scholarship-funded training and earned valuable industry certifications that will help support their future career goals.

This year's cohort also marked the first time Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) training was included in the program, allowing participants to earn EMR licensure through Absolute Safety's Louisiana Bureau of EMS-approved program.

Congratulations to all of the graduates, and thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey!

We had a great day of 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 at Alma Plantation — one of Louisiana’s 11 sugar mills and a key part of the region’s workforce and economy.

Rescue training equips teams to respond when something goes wrong — making it a 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡, 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚-𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝-𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.

After evaluating the confined space conditions on-site, we delivered a 𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 with a strong focus on OSHA 1910.146 requirements, proper equipment use, rescue techniques, and real-world application.
