We had a great day of 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 at Alma Plantation — one of Louisiana’s 11 sugar mills and a key part of the region’s workforce and economy.

Rescue training equips teams to respond when something goes wrong — making it a 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡, 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚-𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝-𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.

After evaluating the confined space conditions on-site, we delivered a 𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 with a strong focus on OSHA 1910.146 requirements, proper equipment use, rescue techniques, and real-world application.

𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 — 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙.

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀:
➤ OSHA reported 7 fatal overhead crane incidents in just the first half of the year.
➤ The oil and gas sector recorded 177 lost-time incidents and 6 fatalities through Q3.
➤ Construction sites continue to lead in lifting-related fatalities, with 20% linked to power line contact.

These 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 reflect the same hazards our instructors discuss with crews during our rigging safety training course.

Our team had a great time working alongside PCL Construction's crew to deliver Forklift/Telehandler training.

By combining online learning, in-person instruction, and hands-on exercises, we tailored the course to fit seamlessly into their workday and make safety training both practical and engaging!
