Ever notice a dusty smell the first time you turn on the heat? 🔥👃

After sitting unused for months, a small amount of dust can settle on components inside your heating system. When the heat comes on for the first time, that dust can warm up and create a temporary burning or dusty smell.

A mild odor that disappears fairly quickly can be normal. But a strong electrical, plastic or persistent burning smell deserves attention.

If something doesn't smell right, don't ignore it. Turn the system off and give Solace a call.

October Weather Deep Cut 🌡️🍂

October may bring cooler weather to Tennessee, but the record books show just how unpredictable the month can be.

Chattanooga has reached 100°F in October, while Crossville has dropped all the way to 15°F. That's an incredible 85-degree difference!

From lingering A/C weather to the first nights that have you reaching for the heat, your HVAC system may have to handle a little bit of everything this month.
