What was I thinking about during my 1st pregnancy? Definitely not bandaids. 🩹 I was busy reading about vaccines and protein-packed snacks, not how I’d be refilling my first-aid kit once a month.

Anyone elses kids love bathing their stuffed animals with v***r rub and covering them with bandaids? Or covering every single one of their toes & fingers with bandaids because “ouchy?”

I’d say “send help,” but right now…send bandaids. 🤣 But in all honesty, I’m going to start writing “bandaids, pomadas, v***ru” anytime the kids have birthdays, on their wishlists.

I won’t even get started on berries for this post. Needless to say, I’m planting all types of berries in my yard so at least during the spring and summer we don’t have to shop for them every few days. 🫐 🍓

What’s the craziest, unhinged or not, unspoken thing that you’ve been buying for your kids?

These last few days I’ve been trying to stock up on memories, moments, feelings. Hoping that they’ll last fresh in my memory until the day he comes back.

I always knew this day might come when I married him. I just didn’t realize it would hurt so much. There are so many unknowns and I keep telling myself it’s a sacrifice that some have to endure, and God chose me to do so.

If you’re family is affected by a deployment; I hear you, I feel you, I see you. 🤍

I’m so incredibly proud of my dancer. Her hard work and dedication shined through today.

Balancing dance, sports, school, and social events can be challenging, but it’s so rewarding to witness moments like today. 💗

At the moment I held my daughter in my arms, as a ftm, I suddenly understood everything my mom once told me.

The “espérate a que tengas hijos,” took on a new meaning.

Before, I would receive it with a bit of edge, almost like a challenge.

Little did I know, those words carried love, heartbreak, worry, pride, joy…everything moms hold.

It wasn’t a warning to a challenge, it was a warning into the unknown parts of parenthood. The part no one talks about. The conflicting feelings of wanting to give our kids the best, but thinking we have to give ourselves up. The part where we bottle up all of our feelings to give ourselves littles the best memories.

I have the best mom, and if I can be even half as great as she, I’m already winning. 🤍

To all the moms out there “trying,” you’re already doing great. Your kids don’t need perfection, they need a mom that tries and shows them unconditional love. 🤍

To all the woman out there planning on having kids, just you wait until you become a mom (espérate a que seas mamá). It’ll be the best experience yet. 🤍

The hardest part of deployment isn’t the goodbye, it’s missing the everyday moments. ❤️🇺🇸

I remember praying for the man God had destined for me since I was a young girl. I prayed for him everyday, without knowing who he was. Prayed for his heart to know Jesus and love Him as much as I did. 🤍
Today, I am blessed to be living life with the man I prayed for. Blessed because we choose each other every day. Through all the trials and tribulations we may face, we remain faithful to God and to each other. 🤍

I wouldn’t have it any other way.🤍
