The next area of this home remodel has no before pictures as it didn't exist and was newly constructed within existing space of the old kitchen to add a guest bath and laundry center to the home.

Serving perfectly as the temp bathroom during master on suite renovation we moved back to the space to add our custom built finishes, cabinet with barn doors, and vanity.

Next stop on the farmhouse restoration brings us to this large eat in dining room. By removing the old serving bar, we were able to open the space to the kitchen to continue the open flow concept. Salvaging one of the homes many chimneys while using the wooden pulley from the farms original pump house for a custom made dining light we were able to continue to honor this farms legacy in the design.

Work continued to flow into the existing living room, dining room, and kitchen spaces with new half guest bath and laundry center added into the layout. Tonight we feature the living room transformation.

Creating an open floor plan is a modern concept, so it was important to retain the characterful feel of this period farm home. In that we constructed the spaces to preserve original features and expose details original to the home as design focal points.

Continuing on into the master bathroom concurrently while completing the new on suite bath of this home remodel got us so engaged we forgot to snag before photos of this room. Addition of a custom built chimney, barn door and the rich warmth of this wood panel ceiling really blend a classic comfort and softness into the overall design.
