Kristin Tompkins spoke with the HS Anatomy class today about Dentistry and Dental Hygienists. The students were very interested in the case study samples she shared with us and how she has to continue her education to stay up to date on current dental practices!
(I personally had no idea that dental hygienists had to have that many professional development hours per year to maintain their licenses!) Thanks for coming in Kristin!

Brandon Thurman from Sur Drones came in today to speak to the 8th Hr Drone STEM class about his experiences with UAV’s. Brandon talked about his years of military experience with UAV’s as well as his experiences in the private sector. We then traveled off site so Brandon could model locating wounded game and reconnaissance. The students then played a game of hide and seek and Brandon located them in less than 4 mins using his thermal drone! (Videos in the comments)
