PROTECTING ELECTRONICS IN HARSH ENVIRONMENTS
I’ve been a competitive swimmer most of my life and frequently thought a pace clock, visible on the bottom of the pool as I swam, would be helpful in training. It was one of those delayed, bucket list items, but I finally got around to it. - About 15 years ago PACE PAL, LLC or PACE PAL® was created. It has been a fascinating journey, with the help of many highly skilled people (i.e. industrial design, manufacturing and material expersts) along the way.
Water and electronics are great adversaries. Over the years we learned a few things about the design and manufacture of robust encasements to seal water out. It dawned on me that our robust case technologies and know-how had more applications than just aquatic sports (i.e. health care, military, public safety, security, and mining to name a few). So, recently, we added a d/b/a for PACE PAL®, WATERPROOF CASE TECH, to invite customization projects for other sectors of the economy.
