What keeps me going and gives me energy? ✨

Sometimes after working long hours, you have to take a moment to recharge your batteries. Here’s what helps me reset after a long week and keep going

🔹 Date night with my love - recently we took advantage of Restaurant Week in NYC for a super well priced evening!

🔹Reading a good book! I am currently reading “We All Live Here” by Jojo Reyes and it’s been the perfect book to relax. Not too addictive and relaxing sweet story (well, so far!)

🔹Cooking meals for the week and some appetizers for fancy Saturday nights at home 💛 We recently made sushi for the first time!!

🔹Going to broadway shows in the city. It’s the perfect way to unwind and not think about anything else than the performances in front of you for 3 hours!

🔹Working out at F45! Don’t have to think about what to workout, you just show up, and in just 45 minutes you’ve completed a really hard workout you can be proud of!

What gives YOU energy for the week and allows you to reset? ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥

2016 was the year this account started! Girl Knows Tech is now 10 years old, the time has passed so quickly! ✨

I started this account in my second semester of undergrad, when I was studying software engineering.

Since then, I did 4 internships and shared all of those with you here.

I started a masters in AI, did a research internship at Johns Hopkins, graduated again - and through all that, I shared my daily adventures here!

Now, I met my partner at Johns Hopkins. We were loving each other for 4 years while living in different countries.

A year and a half ago, I found a dream job at a startup in NYC and that allowed us to close the distance and be together.

This year, I'm getting married. In India! And I'll share all of that here too, and I will try to show up more here again. ❤️✨

I'm sure many of you have been here through all this time! 🫶 if that's you, thank you! 🩷
.. Am I the only one that barely has pictures from 2016? It seems I only have pictures of events but really just a few lol.

1. Hiking the Bright Angel Trail at the Grand Canyon South Rim was a highlight of our trip!

3. I love making drives shorter (or longer) by stopping along the way - we went to Horseshoe Bend!
