Anlaan Corporation

Anlaan was founded in 1986 by Don Anderson and Gerrit Terlaan, hence the name Anlaan. Don and Gerrit worked together prior to the forming of the Anlaan Corporation at a western Michigan company where they developed a relationship and skill for bidding and constructing heavy civil projects. Together they gradually built the business from it's inception to a multi million dollar heavy civil contract

or specializing in bridge construction and other related works. After successfully building the company into a major contractor in both Michigan and Indiana, Don and Gerrit made the decision to begin transitioning the company into the next generation of ownership. In March of 2007 the company was sold to Ryan O'Donnell, Nick Baker and Tom Wagenmaker all of whom were former employees and mentors under Don and Gerrit. Today the company continues with the same values and goals as originally established by Mr.

Fridays from the Field 🚧
This week, we’re in Wayne County on the Rouge Gateway Greenway project!
Our crews are hard at work erecting a pedestrian bridge for Granger, helping bring another key piece of this greenway project into place. 🌉👷
It’s always exciting to see a project take shape in the field—and even better knowing this bridge will help create new connections for pedestrians and the surrounding community.
Great work by everyone involved! 💪

Fridays from the Field 🚧
Sometimes the job site isn't just shared with people! 🦫 This week, our crew worked on emergency repairs on M-77 over Lake Ann Louise in Schoolcraft County after a beaver decided to build a hut, contributing to a washout near the box culvert.
Our team excavated the saturated backfill to locate and repair the voids leading up to the culvert, restoring the roadway's stability and keeping the project on track. While we can appreciate the beaver's work ethic, we'll leave the infrastructure projects to our crew! 🙃
