With certification in architectural drafting and design, experience in AutoCAD plan sets, SketchUp 3D rendering, Photoshop visualization, ADA and egress design principles, and a strong interest in long-lasting, efficient building practices, our latest addition to the team is helping us execute projects with even more detail and collaboration.

Rot doesn’t happen overnight—and neither do the right fixes.

On this project, we uncovered a severely deteriorated rim joist caused by poor siding and flashing details. Water intrusion over time compromised a critical structural component, and patchwork wasn’t an option.

Our team is carefully lifting the exterior wall between 3/4"–7/8" to remove and replace the damaged rim joist the right way. This isn’t cosmetic—it’s structural integrity, load transfer, and long-term performance.

What matters here:
• Identifying the root cause (failed flashing + water management)
• Stabilizing and safely lifting the structure
• Replacing compromised framing with proper materials
• Rebuilding with correct flashing and detailing so it doesn’t happen again

This is the difference between covering up a problem and actually fixing it.
