So thankful for all of my family and friends! Where would I be without you? I am truly blessed.
I am overwhelmed by the number of people reaching out—not only to pray with and for me, but also dropping off food and so much more. Danielle Click has been absolutely fantastic, putting her love into action in ways words can't fully express. She has been taking care of me, the household, and keeping all of the business management running smoothly.
A huge shoutout to The Noah and Caveman Joe as well—they are doing a phenomenal job keeping things moving!

🛠️ From Broken to Back to Work in Under an Hour! 🛠️
You can’t keep a good crew down—and you definitely can’t keep me out of the shop for too long!
While I’m still on the mend recovering from neck surgery, "Caveman Joe" hit a little snag today when the derrick adapter on the tractor decided to snap. Instead of throwing in the towel, I managed to sneak away to the shop to play crew chief and walk Joe through the entire repair step-by-step.
Joe fired up the welder, laid down some solid beads, and we had that adapter fixed, reinforced, and back on the machine in record time. Total downtime? Less than 60 minutes from the break to getting right back to work.
That’s how we roll at Bill’s Post Hole Service—built tough, repaired fast, and always moving forward. Big shoutout to Joe for executing the game plan perfectly!

Been going a little stir crazy sitting around so I went over to the shop today for a few hours to help out a local farmer with a broken hay bailer. Nothing physical for me, just instructed CAVEMAN JOE how to get everything welded up for him and in a few short hours and he’s back out bailing hay.

HERE WE GO again! National fuel called me about an 811 locate ticket in regards to where we are digging on the property. I’ve attached a screen shot of the 811 ticket to show work area location and of the house from google earth. Danielle politely asked him what the ticket said, to which he replied “backyard” but he wasn’t sure where the backyard is. You just can’t make this stuff up! Come on National Fuel do better. I get multiple calls a day like this from only National Fuel no other utility has a problem.

Putting the final touch on this semester before taking a quick pit stop! 👨‍🏭💥
Here’s a look at a final destructive test coupon sample—a SMAW 3G open root bend test. When you prep it right and dial it in, the metal doesn't lie.
I’m taking a little time off from teaching the welding program at Erie 1 BOCES to finally get some much-needed neck surgery taken care of after that nasty car accident. I am seriously going to miss working with this crew every week, but the shop is in good hands.
I'll be resting up, healing fast, and I'll be right back to finish off the class strong once recovery is wrapped up. Keep those arcs striking, guys! ⚡

🛠️ **Local Followers & Tractor Fixes!** 🚜
One of the coolest parts of this job is finally meeting people who have been following our page for years. Today, we got to meet Lucas Bodden!
Lucas has been a follower for a long time but didn't realize Bill’s Post Hole Service was only 30 minutes down the road from him. When he ran into issues with the quick connect on his tractor bucket, he reached out to see if we could help.
We got his tractor unloaded, assessed the damage, and with a little torching and welding, we had him back in business in just 2 hours! ⏱️💪

This Memorial Day, all of us at Bill’s Post Hole Service take a moment to pause, reflect, and remember the true meaning of this day.
For my family, this day hits very close to home. On Mother’s Day of 1970, my grandmother faced a loss no mother ever should when my uncle made the ultimate sacrifice. Because of him, and the countless brave men and women who never made it back to their families, we have the freedoms we enjoy today.
Every year, we gather as a family right here in our hometown of Grand Island, NY, to attend the local services and honor our fallen heroes. It’s a tradition of remembrance, respect, and deep gratitude that we carry with us always.
As you enjoy the holiday weekend with your loved ones, please join us in keeping the families of our fallen service members in your thoughts. We will never forget their sacrifice. 🇺🇸🦅

⏳ **THE WAITING GAME (Engine Swap Edition)** ⏳
We are *still* playing the waiting game with the machine shop to get our 350 Chevy small block back so we can finally start throwing parts at it and button this thing up. It’s hard to keep the shop moving forward when your powerplant is sitting in someone else's queue, but good machine work takes time, and we want this thing bulletproof.
But it’s not all holding patterns around here!
We just got our custom torque converter back from the crew at **Boss Hogg**, and man, did they deliver. We had them build this one **extra heavy-duty** and spec'd tight specifically for towing and hauling heavy equipment. No slipping, no overheating—just pure, unadulterated grunt to the ground.
> **📦 UNBOXING GOODIES:** The small block might be MIA, but this converter is a work of art.

The pieces of the puzzle are slowly coming together. Once that block gets back to the shop, it’s game on.
