The demand on Military members and their families can be stressful- the FRG is an important link that helps Soldiers and their families by:

* Providing a chance to ask questions, express ideas and concerns

Establishing a direct line of communication
* Sharing volunteer work and activities
* Creating friendships and support for one another
* Helping prepare families for separation due to annual training, schools and possible mobilization or deployment
* Connecting families with community assistance adn resources
* Helping provide more prepared, self-reliant, confident families

* Keep up to date on Resources and Benefits
* Know about Drill and Training dates- be kept informed through the Chain of Concern- concise accurate information
* Have a Volunteer Point of Contact as a source of assistance
