Habitat for Humanity means so much more to us than this fun community competition. Our Chief Construction team has had the opportunity to share our time, talents and skills to help make a difference for local families, and Justin is honored to be part of an organization with such an important mission.

Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity has empowered more than 124 qualifying families to build and purchase affordable homes through its program. We are excited to support Justin throughout this journey and will share ways you can get involved along the way!

Congratulations to Lexington Regional Health Center on 50 years of serving the Lexington community!

Chief Construction is proud to be a trusted partner of LRHC. We have had the opportunity to work alongside the hospital team on important renovation projects that enhance patient care areas, including the laboratory, emergency department, and radiology department.

Chief Construction is proud to celebrate the completion of Diamond Plastics’ new 20,000-square-foot corporate office in Grand Island!

The finished facility features modern offices, collaborative workspaces, conference and training rooms, a welcoming reception area, and an outdoor patio. Thoughtful finishes and abundant natural light create a professional, comfortable environment that will support the Diamond Plastics team for years to come.

Chief Construction joins the Grand Island community in mourning the loss of Ray O’Connor, a remarkable leader, mentor and friend.

Over the years, we had the privilege of working alongside Ray on many projects. But what we will remember most is the person behind those projects. Ray was generous with his time, his knowledge and his encouragement. He served as a mentor to many of us at Chief, and his influence reached far beyond the buildings and businesses he helped create.

Ray believed deeply in Grand Island and spent a lifetime investing in its people, organizations and future. His leadership, generosity and commitment to service helped make this community what it is today.

We are incredibly grateful to have known Ray, to have learned from him and to have worked alongside him. His impact will be felt in Grand Island for generations.

Our heartfelt condolences are with Jennifer, the O’Connor family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing Ray.

Thank you, Ray, for all you gave to our community. You will be deeply missed.

Crews are making steady progress on the Hall County Courthouse project in Grand Island.

The latest look at the site highlights continued work on the building addition, with exterior construction advancing and crews staying busy throughout the interior. Framing and building systems are progressing as work continues across multiple areas of the project.

There’s plenty of activity happening both inside and out as crews continue moving the project forward!
