The Opportunity:
Join the Western Filament Sales Department handling all aspects of sales-related tasks ranging from; data entry, answering phones, marketing, account management, data analytics, and much more. Learn the ins and outs of a manufacturing process and help drive growth for the business. Work closely with the production and scheduling department ensuring on-time delivery/monitoring demands vs capacity. Foster relationships with customers in a variety of exciting industries. Position Details:
Provide verbal and written quotations to customers/follow up on quotations.
Assist in answering telephones and inputting sales orders.
Create spreadsheets analyzing data on customers/parts.
Assist in marketing efforts/website content.
Provide a crucial link between our customer’s needs and production abilities.
Offer customer assistance on technical questions, concerns, or complaints.
Work with Engineering/IT on creating new part numbers.
Offer support to outside salespeople who are traveling or on business trips.
Check E-mails, distribute as appropriate, respond to e-mails in a timely manner.
Call new customer leads.
Monitor and drive increased business with current accounts.
Identify key areas for continuous improvement activities in the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred with a focus on business, other degrees considered.
Sales experience.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and professional interactive skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency. Ability to effectively assist, present information, and respond to questions from customers, inter-department staff, or suppliers. Capable of working with internal staff from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner.
Understanding of team dynamics and ability to work well within a team structure. Collaborative style. Ability to accept all tasks from Sales Manager.
Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines autonomously and shift priorities, as necessary.
Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyzes information and data skillfully. Develops alternative solutions.

Salary Range: $15 - $19 per hour (with growth potential)
