Pro-MEC Engineering Services is a Progressive Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering Firm

Pro-MEC is an independent third party field services provider. Pro-MEC provides a variety of programs that rest on the non-biased independent third party approach. In the commercial and institutional markets, our firm is certified by National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB), the largest and most widely accepted TAB and commissioning certifying organization. Our background and experience allows Pro-MEC to provide professional services in laboratory and general HVAC air and hydronic commissioning, Retro-commissioning (Existing Building), and facility test and balancing. Our knowledge started in the industrial process equipment marketplace and continues there today. Pro-MEC’s industrial abilities consist of a full array of field services in conveying systems, air pollution control, chemical process piping, and chemical delivery systems. With these skills Pro-MEC is able to provide a professional independent third party evaluation and “hands on” field services of newly installed or existing mechanical/process systems. At Pro-MEC we will use our knowledge to evaluate your mechanical/process system of any complexity. We will analyze any possible issues the project may be presented with, offer solutions to move forward efficiently, and perform the field services required to complete or assist in the completion of your project.

Check out this recent transformation! A customer's industrial scrubber system was completely out of commission due to a major internal collapse.

Our team at Pro-MEC got to work, turning the "before" into a fully functional "after." We engineered a solution that not only fixed the immediate problem but also restored the entire system to peak performance. From replacing internal supports & packing to power-washing the exterior, we handled it all!

Proud of our crew for another successful project!

We’re proud to have supported the response efforts at the Cheboygan Lock and Dam alongside MI DNR, U.S
Army Corps of Engineers, MSP Emergency Management & Homeland Security Division, Consumers Energy, Hydromine and local partners.
As shared in recent updates, the hydro dam at the Cheboygan Lock and Dam Complex is now officially online and water levels are dropping—marking a major step in resolving the situation and restoring normal conditions.
Pro-MEC was honored to play a role in helping bring the system back to full capacity and supporting the protection of the surrounding community. This outcome highlights the impact of strong coordination, rapid response, and dependable infrastructure solutions when it matters most. Pictured here is a PMES Electrician, Strango, hard at work to help bring the system back online.
For continued updates, be sure to follow MSP Emergency Management & Homeland Security Division—the official source for emergency and disaster information from the State of Michigan.
