Founded in 2003 by Rick Agee, Agee Steel Detailing has grown into a full-service Detailing company. This means we detail both main structural and misc steel such as stairs, rails, and ladders. Our employees are highly-skilled professional Steel Detailers whose combined experience allows us to provide solutions to today's project challenges. In addition, our on-going commitment to traini

ng ensures that we stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the industry, including the latest push towards BIM models and their integration into one project model. Our projects have ranged in size from 2-2000+ tons. From a gas station canopy to multi-story hi-rise office buildings. From petro-chemical plants to churches and schools. We do it all. We use SDS2 detailing software exclusively for the most accurate Steel Detailing in the country. With our combined years of experience and utilization of the latest software and training available, we are up to any challenge. Full Job Description:
Agee Steel Detailing is a structural steel detailing firm dedicated to excellence in our field. At ASD, we utilize CAD software to design structural steel structures such as stadiums, high-rise office buildings, NASA launch platforms, schools, and more. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide all training in both the industry and the SDS2 software. We are seeking an individual looking to use their computer and construction interests and skills to become an entry-level structural steel detailer trainee. Growth opportunities are plentiful at Agee Steel Detailing and we hold reviews every six months. The job is a full-time position working 8:00-4:45 Monday-Friday. Pay starts at $17/hour. We are an in-person job and do not offer remote positions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with a CTE or STEM education background, especially in architecture or engineering pathways are preferred. Also preferred are candidates who have been trained to read architectural design drawings. Finally, candidates with experience in 3D modeling, CAD, or architectural software are preferred.
