We are a well-established commercial construction company specializing in interior finishing, maintenance, and repairs — all in a climate-controlled environment (no freezing winters or blazing summer heat while you work!).

✅ No out-of-town travel — stay local right here in Metro Grand Rapids!
✅ Consistent full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM — your evenings and weekends are yours.

👷‍♂️ Dads: Building Dreams by Day, Fixing Toys by Night 🔧🧸

Happy Father’s Day to our crew of legendary construction dads — the guys who spend all day with power tools and still get asked to “open this juice box” when they get home.

They can pour concrete, frame a house, and hang drywall... but somehow still get stumped by assembling a toddler’s play kitchen.

From building job sites to building blanket forts, these dads are doing it all — with a toolbelt in one hand and a diaper bag in the other.

Thanks for teaching your kids how to measure twice, cut once, and always wear sunscreen... or at least a Ken Ferris Construction hat.

To the hardworking, joke-cracking, nail-hammering, snack-opening fathers — Happy Father’s Day to our hard working Ken Ferris Construction Dads!

We are coming to the final days of getting our finishing touches done here in Phase 2 of Nero! Take a gander of some of our beautiful before and after photos. It is amazing what new flooring fresh paint and new lighting can do to the place! Stay tuned for Phase 3!

Well, well, well.... what do we have here?

Bet you thought you weren't going to be seeing another Meet the Team post, did ya?

WRONG

Everyone give a warm round of applause (or drop a little wave in the comments for him) to the newest member of the Ken Ferris Construction Team, Troy!

Troy is our newest Project Manager!
Sadly, Troy did not get to get interviewed at the same time as everyone else. But, it is pretty safe to say he would have probably been voted the most easy going or most likely to answer his phone.

If he could pack up and leave for a week (or two) today, he would choose to be experiencing the untouched beauty of glaciers, towering mountains, and pristine wilderness on an Alaskan Cruise!

He is still warming up to all of us here at Ken Ferris Construction, so he didn't want to give away who is first celebrity crush was. (Once we get it out of him you all will be the first to know)

We all are truly grateful to have you on board. Your expertise and innovative ideas are already adding value to the quality of work we do. We truly appreciate your fresh perspectives and cant wait to see how your experience continues to shape us here at Ken Ferris Construction!

Out with the old, in with the new!

Come and take a little sneak peek at 1 of the 13 exam rooms that received a little "facelift" by our amazing crew who has been working their tails off in the Neurology Department at Trinity Health.

1- fresh paint really works wonders!
2 -rip out that old carpet and replace with beautiful new flooring.
3- bright new light fixtures.
4- wall protection to keep any dents and scuffs at bay.

This brings phase #1 (of 3) to an end. Stay tuned for some more before and after photos!
