Our founder, Ed Mol Sr. used to occassionally treat his employee's to hamburgers and malts to show his gratitude for the company they helped him create. Today we honor his memory by recreating those meals around his birthday. Happy Founder's Day!

This weeks birthday was special. Ed turned 70 on Sunday and we decided to celebrate this milestone with cake. As was said at break~ "The last 35 years was pretty great; here's to the next 35!"

The Medium Rough Top, or MR, profile is just one of the ten short-run custom profiles that Mol Belting Systems can add to PVC and PU conveyor belts.

The rope impression creates a complex yet easy to clean surface that provides a little extra grip without compromising on longitudinal flexibility. MR is often chosen when minimum pulley values are pushed to the limits - particularly with the addition of our patented AG fabric. Using a low durometer top cover in combination with this texture also improves grip.

Finger-Step-Finger (FSF) is a splice that has two layers of fingers slightly offset from each other. This allows for better flexing as there is a solid fabric layer above or below each set of fingers. This increases the strength of the splice, allowing for higher running speeds while improving pulley bend.

Mol Belting is extremely grateful for all of our vendors, customers, and partners in the last year and looks forward to making 2023 a great one!

Proper tracking is important for any conveyor belt application. Bakeries in particular have challenges that rise from excess materials contaminating the conveyor.

One of our OEMs created an innovative solution to correct this issue but it was causing the belt to fold over on itself. These conveyor belts were 24" wide and over 200' long! The folding was not aesthetically pleasing and would reduce belt life, but more importantly it narrowed the belt width and impacted production. We tried switching to a standard monofilament belt for increased stability along the width, but ultimately ended up moving to a belt with high beam strength fabric for an extremely cross-rigid belt.

Mol Belting introduced our HBS-2AR7-0W-U-SP into this application with great success. The belt no longer folded over itself, was able to track true with the innovative design, and the satin cover provided release comparable to their previous belt. A win all around!
