Democrat Eli Savit is just as radical — if not more radical — than Nessel.

Savit is the Washtenaw County (the home of Ann Arbor) prosecutor. He supports Michigan’s 2023 package: “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation, universal permit-to-purchase scheme, and mandatory storage.

He has already called for statewide bans on bump stocks and “ghost guns.” He is endorsed by Giffords and Everytown for Gun Safety. Put him in Nessel’s seat and he will not just defend the 2023 laws. He will use the office to push the next round.

Republican gubernatorial candidate John James returned his Great Lakes Gun Rights Candidate Survey 100% pro-gun. He has pledged to support Constitutional Carry, oppose “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation, and repeal Michigan’s Permit to Purchase scheme.

Democrat gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn Benson is the opposite. She has the backing of Giffords, Everytown, and Moms Demand Action. She has called for more “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation. She tried to ban guns at polling places in 2020 until the courts stopped her.

A Benson administration will not sign Constitutional Carry. It will run Whitmer’s Gun Violence Prevention Task Force playbook: “Assault Weapon” Bans, magazine bans, waiting periods, and more gun confiscation.

Michigan will not become a Constitutional Carry state by accident. It will happen only if gun owners force the issue — and only if Lansing is in a position to pass it. This is outrageous.

🚨 LAWSUIT: THEY TOOK HIS GUN. THEN KEPT IT.

Andrew Kilbourn had a concealed pistol license. He explained that he bought his pistol from a gun store and mailed in the sales paperwork.

But when a Livingston County deputy found no matching entry in a state database, he confiscated the pistol—and threatened Kilbourn with arrest for a supposed five-year felony.

📁 According to our newly filed federal lawsuit, the County classified the matter as noncriminal and closed it that same day.

❌ No fi***rm charge. No forfeiture proceeding. No hearing.

More than a month later, the County still had his gun.

⚖️ Outside Legal Counsel PLC is challenging the seizure and continued retention under the Second, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendments.

A missing database entry should not cost a citizen his constitutional rights.
