HexArmor We're more than just gloves. We're the confidence, safety, and livelihood of those we protect. We started this journey more than a decade ago. And one glove.

A group of hardworking people with a new technology that no one had ever seen. One that had the potential to change the cut and puncture safety market. One that could save the lives and livelihood of workers across the world. So we started with one industry. We changed and altered and tested and trialed until we successfully eliminated all hand injuries for a large waste and recycling company. Eliminated – as in zero – none. That’s when we knew we had something. Our thought was if we stopped dictating the safety products people used, and started working one-on-one with people to develop the safety product they actually need…well, we’d have something pretty unique for this industry. Not to mention, we’d be able to change the conversation from price and product to “is this the right PPE to effectively reduce injuries and protect our people?” It was possible, but it wasn’t simple. We set off to work with people, side-by-side, day after day to experience the kind of dangers and hazards they encountered. From there we grew and expanded our hand safety line one industry at a time – with our team of safety advisors hitting worksites and manufacturing floors, working hand-in-hand with their workers, listening to their input, and giving them the protection they deserve. And that’s what’s most important to us. Because, in the end, we aren’t just gloves and PPE. We’re the confidence, safety, and livelihood of those we protect. HexArmor. We’re Safety, Redefined.

Congratulations to Josh on 15 awesome years at HexArmor! 👏

The biggest thing Josh has learned from his time at HexArmor is the importance of patience, perspective, and curiosity. "Don't get too high with the wins or too low with the setbacks, and never assume you have all the answers. Ask good questions, listen, and understand the problem before jumping to the solution."

His favorite thing about working at HexArmor has been seeing the growth. "Not only of the company, but of the people within it. I've been so fortunate to have mentors who invest in my development while genuinely caring about me as a person, and that team-first culture has made this the most rewarding part of my experience."

Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family, whether it's dinner dates with his wife, riding quads with his kids, watching the Wolverines, or hunting on a cold, crisp fall morning. His latest obsession is contrast therapy, going back and forth between the sauna and the cold plunge - it's one of his favorite ways to relax, recharge, and challenge himself.

What happens when an airline ground crew tests SafeLift™? Here’s what one major international airline found.

Ground crews have about 45 minutes to turn a plane around. That means heavy bags, tight spaces, and awkward positions, all on the clock. At this airline, 46% of baggage handlers had sustained a back injury on the job, and 71% had back pain more than once at work.

To see whether a powered exosuit could help, the airline ran SafeLift™ through real-world trials with its ground crews in both winter and summer. The results:

◾Nearly 35,000 lbs of cumulative load offloaded from workers’ backs
◾3 applications validated for rollout: arrivals/reclaim, logistics, cargo
◾Workers reported less back strain and discomfort
◾20 to 30 seconds to put on or take off
◾Twisting and forward bending flagged as top ergonomic risks for coaching

Congratulations to Amy Rechner on 20 epic years at HexArmor! 🎉

The biggest thing Amy has learned from her time at HexArmor is to embrace change. "Change is inevitable, and growth doesn't happen by chance; it's a choice. It requires taking ownership, being intentional about your development, and being willing to step outside your comfort zone. Some of the most meaningful chapters of a career begin when you have no idea what you're getting yourself into, and those moments often offer the greatest opportunities to learn, adapt, and grow."

Her favorite thing about working at HexArmor has been the relationships she's built, both personally and professionally. "The people are what make this organization special, and I've been fortunate to work alongside individuals who have challenged me, supported me, and contributed to my growth. I've also truly valued HexArmor's continued investment in its people and its commitment to helping them reach their potential."

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her adult children, going to concerts, and discovering new places to eat. She also loves a long walk or time in her yard. At home, she's a proud pet owner to two very needy but very loved companions: Kevin, the three-legged cat, and Jorge, her anxiety-ridden Goldendoodle, who keep the household entertained and remind everyone who's really in charge.
