Cheers to the Village of Farwell on the grand opening of Mill Pond Park!

What began as a simple infrastructure project evolved into something much more. After completing the Mill Pond dredging under budget, F&V partnered with the Village to transform the site into a vibrant community space, complete with scenic trails, a kayak launch, a fishing pier, and accessible connections to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail.

“I was born and raised in Farwell, so being part of a project that brings new life to a space once enjoyed by so many in our community has been incredibly meaningful,” said Tracey Jackson, Village President. F&V shares this sentiment and is proud to support a project with such strong community roots.

The result is a welcoming space for the community to gather and enjoy for years to come.

Congratulations to the The City of Reed City on the opening of its new downtown park!

F&V designed the park for year-round community use. The new park offers inclusive spaces and amenities for people of all ages and abilities. It features a splash pad, an outdoor fireplace, a performance stage, shade sails, a synthetic-turf event space, and restrooms. We're proud to have partnered with the City on this exciting project, and we thank Ge**er Construction Co. and everyone involved for helping to bring this vision to life!

Congratulations to Otsego County on the groundbreaking of its new Judicial Center. The 21,000-square-foot building will support court operations and house the county jail. Fleis & VandenBrink is proud to have provided brownfield services for the project. Construction of the building should take one year.
