Congratulations to Bob and Don on their respective promotions! Bob Wilcox has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Don Devries to Vice President. Both Bob and Don have been integral to F&V for decades, bringing strong leadership, expertise, and a commitment to our clients and communities. We’re grateful for Craig Shumaker’s leadership and contributions that have helped shape F&V as he begins his transition toward retirement.

Home runs, hot dogs, and great company! ⚾🌭☀️

This season, we had the opportunity to celebrate with our team and their families at ballparks across Michigan and Indiana, cheering on the West Michigan Whitecaps, Great Lakes Loons, Traverse City Pit Spitters, Fort Wayne TinCaps, and Indianapolis Indians.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this summer one filled with fun, connection, and great memories!

Congratulations to the Village of Capac on the groundbreaking of its Main Street Reconstruction project!

The Village celebrated the groundbreaking last Thursday after securing $1.5 million in Congressionally Directed Spending, thanks to the efforts of Congresswoman Lisa McClain.

F&V is proud to support this transformative project by providing concept design, engineering, and bidding services, along with construction administration. The new streetscape will feature ADA accessible sidewalks and pedestrian crosswalks, complete streets and traffic calming, added trees and soft scaping, benches for seating, extra waste receptacles, and on-street parking.
The project is designed to help shape the future of Capac’s downtown, one that creates a more welcoming, accessible, and vibrant space.

We’re excited to see this vision become a reality!

A F&V, our 65+ licensed Professional Engineers (PE) wear many hats in fulfilling that commitment. They serve in multidimensional roles, solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions. Whether designing infrastructure, protecting natural resources, or improving transportation and public spaces, their expertise helps shape stronger, safer communities.

As another incredible summer comes to a close, we want to give a huge thank you to our 2026 interns! 🌟

We wrapped up the season with our annual Intern Day, a celebration of all they’ve accomplished during their time at F&V. The day featured presentations highlighting their experiences, lessons learned, and contributions across our teams. We also recognized outstanding presentations with awards for Best Content and Best Delivery, enjoyed lunch together, and toured the newly completed Belding Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Thank you for your hard work, curiosity, and enthusiasm this summer. We’re proud to have been part of your journey!
