Last month we hosted our Second Annual Mental Mindfulness Ice Cream Social. We were honored to welcome Carly Silverstein, Assistant Team Clinician for the Kansas City Chiefs and founding member of Sack the Stigma, who shared valuable insights on building a mental health playbook for both work and life. It was a great afternoon of learning, connection, and ice cream. We're already looking forward to next year!

We successfully replaced a 20-ton VAV rooftop unit on short notice after an unexpected failure. Thanks to quick coordination, we located one of the only in-stock units and had it installed right away.

Shoutout to the crew who made it happen: Cody Enlow, David Horn, Jim Noel (Father of a 2021 SCA graduate), and Gabriel Sanders - a 2025 SCA graduate and new pipefitter apprentice. Incredible work by a great team!

Our PM Contracting enclosed trailer is moving on to bigger and better things. PMC is proud to support Wichita State's SAE race team.

Our Women in Construction Week series continues with Hilary Feltrop, a leader in jobsite safety and an active force in the industry. As Safety Director at PM Contracting, Inc, Hilary has spent the past eight years ensuring that projects run safely and efficiently. She works closely with project managers and field leaders to conduct safety audits, lead training sessions, and develop policies that protect workers and keep jobsites running smoothly.

Beyond her role in safety, Hilary is a dedicated member of MCAKC, frequently participating in industry events and helping advance best practices in mechanical contracting. And when she’s not on the jobsite, she’s proving her skills in another competitive field—shotgun shooting! She travels across the Midwest to compete and was the top winner of MCAKC’s first annual Sporting Clay Event in 2024.

Hilary’s leadership, expertise, and commitment to safety make her an invaluable part of the industry. Join us in celebrating her and all the women making an impact in construction!

PM recently removed a 28,000 lb, 400-ton air-cooled chiller and replaced it with a 15,000 lb, more efficient 230-ton unit, reducing size by 40%. By avoiding like-for-like replacements, we ensured comfort, compliance, and huge energy savings.
