Crossfeed assembly CNC machined from steel and bronze. ⚙️

The shaft features 2”-4 ACME external threads on one end and N10 bearing locknut threads on the opposite end, along with 1/2” and 5/16” keyways milled into the shaft.

The mating 4-1/8” steel fl**ge nut was machined with 2”-4 ACME internal threads and a 3/4” slot milled into the outer fl**ge.

To complete the assembly, two thrust bushings and one fl**ge bushing were machined from cast bronze tubing.

Multiple components, materials, threads, and machining operations brought together into one complete crossfeed assembly—all manufactured in-house. 🇺🇸⚙️

Checking a CNC-machined 2”-4 ACME threaded fl**ge nut with its mating 2”-4 ACME crossfeed shaft to ensure a precise fit. ⚙️🔩 Both components were machined from solid steel round bar for a local steel manufacturer. 🏭

Unlike standard 60-degree threads used mainly for fastening, ACME threads feature a broad 29-degree profile designed to handle heavy loads and repeated movement in lead screws, presses, jacks, and industrial machinery. 💪⚙️

Polisher tensioner rolls CNC machined from carbon steel tubing for a local steel manufacturer. ⚙️

Each face was bored for a press-fit bearing, then the ODs were finish turned using a custom arbor to ensure they run true with both bearing pockets.

⚙️ Unscrambler roll machined for a local steel manufacturer from solid Ø7” 1045 hot-rolled carbon steel.

A single Ø2-7/16” drive shaft, machined from 4140 alloy steel, runs through the center and is welded at the drive-side fl**ge. 🔩 The furnace-side end remains unwelded to allow for thermal expansion. 🔥

Everything was CNC machined to specification. ✅

These stop nuts and boss nuts were CNC machined with precision 1-3/8”-4 ACME internal threads from Ø3” Grade 2 titanium round bar and 3-1/2” square 304 stainless steel. Proud to deliver quality, custom-machined components built to our customers’ specifications.
