🌞 Did you know a welding arc can reach temperatures hotter than the surface of the sun?
The surface of the sun clocks in at around 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit. A plasma arc welding torch can exceed 50,000 degrees. Let that sink in for a second.

Welders out here casually outperforming a star, just another day at the shop!

Jake Schrock was hired June 22, 2004, and celebrates TWENTY-TWO YEARS this month! Jake is one of our eleven current employees with 20+ years of service. We jokingly say that Jake started here when he was sixteen years old, which would be funny if it weren't true. Jake is a "lifer" here and is an amazing asset to our company. Jake has an incredible demeanor and relates well to employees, customers and vendors. He spent the majority of his time working in the warehouse and then eventually managing our purchasing department.

A little over a year ago, the Great Falls branch manager position became available, and Jake stepped into that role, excelling in every aspect. Jake is a solid communicator and strong leader, displaying our core value of WE VALUE RELATIONSHIPS in all that he does!

**Upcoming Blood Drives**
Our outside salesman Wes Ross is sharing these upcoming blood drives in honor of his son, Troy Ross, who required 9 units of blood over a 48-hour period in 2017. These drives are organized entirely on a volunteer basis to ensure life-saving blood is available for the next person or child in need.

Somewhere out there, the universe is slowly accumulating every balloon that ever got away from a kid at a birthday party. You're welcome, cosmos.

In all seriousness, helium is a finite, non-renewable resource with real industrial applications -- leak detection, metal fabrication, medical equipment, and yes, the occasional balloon arrangement. We carry it at all six of our Montana locations and we promise to keep it grounded long enough to get it to you.
