It's been a while since we've done a friendly face Friday! We would like to introduce to you Ryan O'Connell. Ryan joined the Nelson family in February, bringing a passion for thoughtful design and hands-on project experience. Born in Billings and raised in Great Falls, Ryan graduated from C.M. Russell High School before earning his undergraduate degree from Montana State University and later he worked towards his Master of Architecture from Clemson University.
While at Clemson, Ryan worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Design-Build Studio, helping develop small-scale pavilion projects in partnership with the City of Charleston Parks Department. His interest in architecture grew from being surrounded by family in the AEC industry, combined with a natural curiosity and passion for problem-solving. He especially enjoys the iterative design process and hand sketching.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys skiing, golfing, fly fishing, and spending time outdoors. He is currently studying for the ARE exams as he works toward licensure as an architect.

Saint Patrick's Academy's, formerly known as Central Catholic High school, new entrance now reflects the pride and energy that defines the Wolfhounds. The school sought a bold new identity; an entrance canopy that would stand out day and night while still respecting the existing architecture.
The illuminated signage and the Central Catholic holy cross ✝ anchor the entrance, creating a welcoming campus landmark. The new canopy is both a beacon and a gathering place, an expressive front door worthy of the school’s spirit and community.

What an incredible day for our high school house building program!🏠
Today, the students had the chance to showcase their hard work and craftmanship to special guests Mike Rowe and our own Montana Governor, Greg Gianforte. Their words of encouragement reminded our students and our community that skilled trades are not only essential, but honorable and deeply rewarding careers.

After months of construction, the sheriff’s office says its $1.06 million remodel is nearly complete, with upgrades aimed at improving safety and efficiency for both staff and inmates.
