Primary responsibilities include:
Primary onsite supervision
Organize and oversees all on site construction activities.
Scheduling of workers
Delivery of Equipment and materials
Corresponding job progress to project manager
Ensure that subcontractors fully execute and comply with their contracts
Works with contractors to complete project
Provide technical assistance to construction team and sub-contractors
Overseeing jobsite safety
Submit all project related documents
Daily reports
Timecards
Delivery tickets
Quantity report
Other reports require by project manger
Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed

Skills:
Experience reading construction and critical path schedule documents
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordination and schedule with subcontractors and suppliers
Detail-oriented
Great Attitude
Ability plan and accomplish goals
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a commercial superintendent
Available to work with tools if necessary
Provide quality assurance from ground breaking to close-out
Willing to travel
Valid driver’s license

Carpenter qualifications: must pay attention to detail, be able to follow directions, be self-motivated, previous carpentry experience, and must take pride in their work. Duties include (but are not limited to): all phases of carpentry work, using power tools, helping with daily building tasks, keep construction area clean, and move and organize material.

Applicants MUST have at least three years’ carpentry experience.

Compensation: pay starts at $22+ All wages are dependent on upon experience. Oswood Construction Company offers competitive wages.

This project was three overlapping phases to the Town Pump businesses in Conrad, Montana. The first phase was an expansion of the Lucky Lil’s casino. The second phase was the addition of a new lobby, office, breakfast area, business area, and Porte Cochère onto the Pump Super 8 hotel. The final phase was demolition and rebuilding of the old Lucky Lil’s casino including a new bar, cash cage, office, and walk-in cooler. Also included were new finishes in the hotel corridors and minor renovations to some of the guest rooms to accommodate the expansion. During the project, the hotel and casino had to be kept in 24-hour operation. The structure was concrete footings and foundation walls, wood floor joists, structural steel columns and beams, wood framing, pre-engineered wood trusses, glulam beams, and metal framing. Exterior finishes included EIFS, brick veneer, thin brick, cultured stone, metal siding, membrane roofing, asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and aluminum windows and storefronts. Interior finishes included brick veneer, thin brick, custom cabinetry and woodwork, ceramic and glass tile, plush carpet, carpet tile, wallpaper, and paint. Site work included paving, curbs, sidewalks, storm sewers and manholes, oil/water separator, lift station, StormTech system, utilities, and landscaping.
