Come out on October 28th to hear our own Joshua Young give an oral history of our 5th-generation owned and operated family business, part of the Upper Salford Township area since 1890!

October 28 meeting of the Upper Salford Township Historical Society.
Joshua Young, 5th generation owner and employee of John R Young & Company, will be our speaker. The meeting will be held at Tabor United Methodist Church, 2209 Hendricks Station Road, Woxall. It will begin at 7pm. As always, we ask that you bring a nonperishable item for their community outreach program. Hope to see you there!
"Operating for nearly 135 years, John R. Young & Company has been a staple in the Upper Salford Township area for generations, providing heating oil, gasoline, HVAC service, and petroleum lubricant products to farms, industry, and businesses throughout the region. It is impossible to separate the operation of the company from the history of the Young family, going back to Wm. F. Young who settled in the area in the 1880's, so the history of John R. Young & Company will be told through the lens of the Young family's stewardship of the company from its founder through today via oral history and an assortment of company artifacts and documents."
