Due to the current situation with Covid and the family choosing to have a private service many of Richards friends and former colleagues are going to honor him by joining the procession from Parker Rhoden Funeral Home to Clover Hill Road in Green Pond. The procession will leave at 10:30 am from Parker Rhoden Funeral Home and take Green Pond Hwy to Clover Hill Road. Some have said they plan to park along the route and pay their respects as Richard takes his last ride home.

GREENPOND Mr. Richard B. Wood passed away Wednesday evening, August 25, 2021 at his residence in Greenpond, under hospice care, with his family and his two devoted caregivers by his side. He was 75. Richard was born in Walterboro October 28, 1945 a son of the late Berkley C. Wood
