Working out of a small garage behind his house, he sold Lawn Boy & Wheel Horse products as well as small engine repair. With the help of his wife Joyce, the business soon began to grow. In 1972 they moved Humphreys Wheel Horse to its current location on Jackson Street. In 1975, Humphreys' signed on as a Kubota dealer. In 1987, the business changed its name to Humphreys' Outdoor Power. Though the i

ndustry and the buildings have changed greatly since 1966, the basic philosophy behind Humphreys' has remained the same - We are one of the last true Servicing Dealers, who emphasize SERVICE! Our motto: MAKE IT HAPPEN!

We. Fix. Tractors.

We were happy to donate and construct a new tractor for the Emerald Palace 2.0 over the weekend. Phil helped build the first one 25 years ago and if you look close you can spot 4 generations of Humphreys (and Barry Fisher) building the new one. It was great to be part of a project that brought the community together! We’re excited to have contributed to a great playground that many kids will enjoy for years to come!
