Let's talk about it! Talking on camera isn't easy. It isn't natural, and most people aren't comfortable doing it. While we certainly have ways and we do take pride in being able to make it a simple and easy process, there are several ways to navigate this hurdle.
Take this short social media commercial cut that we did for MAC Construction & HVAC for example. Tristan wasn't really comfortable speaking on camera and that is 100% fine. We could have went with a voiceover and that would have been a great solution. However, we chose to use a familiar and local voice in Cal Doty to acheive this goal. We felt by using bits from his testimonial, we would be able to impact and resonate with more people because his voice is recognizable to our area!
What's the moral of the story? Don't let your fear of being on camera or speaking to a camera keep you from taking advantage of the power of video in today's world.
